ILG's video collection takes you into the lives of people with amazing stories. Each show is a compelling half-hour journey into their successes and trials. Programs are recorded in our studio and on location.
Over his long science teaching career, Mike Jones has brought his electronic classroom to learners of all ages. ILG Informal Science is presented through laboratory demonstrations and field activities. Mike uses a full range of equipment and locations to engage his audiences in ways not found in formal science classrooms. Viewers will be taken from a drop of pond water through a research microscope to collecting expeditions aboard his boat exploring the biology and physical science of the lake he lives on and surrounding saltwater ecosystems. You will dive to the bottom of his lake and experience life through the camera of his ROV, an underwater drone. From there we take off to explore the rich geologic and biologic history of the Olympic Peninsula in ILGs aviation assets aboard our Cessna T210 aircraft or A-Star helicopter. His long affiliation with NASA completes our immersion in the experiences awaiting learners of all ages.
